Sanborn Canoe Company began around a campfire, where friends dreamed of building quality canoes and paddles by hand. Starting with a how-to book, borrowed tools, and a cedar strip canoe, those dreams grew into a family-driven passion for craftsmanship and life on the water. Every Sanborn paddle is handcrafted using simple tools, carefully shaped into a functional work of art, and branded with the craftsman’s initials as a mark of pride and trust. Today, our mission remains the same: to create inspiring, durable equipment that helps paddlers enjoy every adventure, from peaceful canoe trips to challenging waters and beyond, together.
