A Metal Werks is a small American shop that makes wood stoves and accessories for hot tent camping. The company is owned and operated by George Wells, who has more than 30 years of experience in welding and manufacturing. A Metal Werks continues the legacy of Four Dog Stove by making stoves designed by Don Kevilus. George spent five years learning welding and fabrication from Don at Four Dog Stove before starting A Metal Werks. Today, George and his team build the stoves by hand in small batches in the USA, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and durable outdoor gear.
