Lester River Bushcraft was founded by Jason Gustafson, a Duluth, Minnesota outdoorsman with a lifelong passion for primitive skills and wilderness living. Growing up in Clinton, Minnesota, Jason developed a love for hunting, fishing, camping, and exploring the outdoors. After moving to Duluth in 1997, he continued developing his outdoor skills while building a family and career. What began as a custom knife business evolved into creating and sourcing practical, dependable outdoor gear, including 100% wool apparel. Jason has trained with respected bushcraft instructors and has taught at events such as the Winter Camping Symposium and other outdoor programs.
